This is the second challenge of James I am doing and absolutely love it! In the past 7 weeks I have gained strength, stability, confidence and lost 10lbs so far! I joined to strengthen my core and back as I have a herniated disc and want to have more strength and so far that is what is happening. The bonus part, a great community that we have fun and laughs in as well as information. Can't say anything bad about this challenge and cant thank James enough for doing these š«¶ā¤ļø

This is my second of James' programs, and this one is just as good as the first. I like how it builds on what was previously accomplished. James does a great job of challenging you wherever you are. He is supportive and encouraging. His passion for fitness shows through his commitment to each participant.

The way the program was set up was for any and all abilities. Easily adaptable and with the alternative moves for those of us with limitations it was an amazing experience. James has put together a solid program that meets you where you are at. His attention to detail and genuine concern for his clients shines through in his videos, descriptions, and responses to questions. He is very knowledgeable on all things fitness related, and is able to enhance or modify based on your needs. Just over halfway through the program I have lost several inches, feel stronger, see more definition, and my clothes fit better. I can't wait to see my progress at the end!

I love it so far , lost 25 pounds so Iām 15 away from my goal. The atmosphere is amazing , and the workout outline is so precise and to the point. Only thing I would change is for some , when doing the videos maybe describe in steps what youāre doing for some of the participants it might help. Other then that your doing an amazing job.

I purchased this challenge to get tone, in all the problem areas and I am already noticing the changes I was hoping for. I still have 2 1/2 weeks left and I am very pleased and excited to see the final results! James is a great coach and very knowledgeable in his field. Numerous people in the challenge have varying disabilities and he has provided alternative exercises for those that need them. James is very interactive with the group: * answering questions timely * providing recommendations on various supplements, pre-workout/recovery protein powders * getting discounts on various products * interacting in community chats * encouraging individuals and giving praise * very down to earth I canāt express enough what a great coach he is. I am so happy I signed up. He wants us to succeed just as much as we do. Highly recommend to anyone considering joining one of Jamesā challenges because you wonāt be disappointed!

Ive been a follower of James for about 4 years now. When I seen him for the first time on Tic Toc I was hooked i had never seen exercises like these before. The more I watched the more I realized how unique his way of training was and I loved it. He made it look so simple that I was like I can do this. Two years later he put his thought to action and starts this online training and yes I was the very first one too sign up. James and his team have put together a fantastic program that is easy to follow every exercise has modifications if anyone needs them James and his team have put so much thought into this program that anyone young or old could do it. Also theres plenty of guidance and directions if needed. With the best community of people who motivate and help each other. I love this program.

This has been an awesome experience! I am so glad I overcame my insecurities and joined the challenge. I was afraid it would be too difficult or advanced. But James is a great coach and made alternative sets for those of us who couldn't move or bend the way the original program called for. He answered all of our questions right away and explained things we didn't understand. And in the beginning there was a lot! He even helped with advice on at home devices/equipment, supplements, food/water, etc. I always knew he was a great guy, but this proves he's a magnificent coach and trainer who really cares about us and if we're successful in meetingour goals. He really cares about his craft and it shows!

Love the program! Exercises were explained on how to perform, the daily breakdown on which exercises to do and also helps with accountability. There is no guessing on āWhat should I do todayā. Love the structure and if there are any questions, they get answered. Never felt like I was on an island by myself. The community support is also top notch!

I purchased this challenge after going through chemo and losing muscle mass, in hopes of regaining some of that muscle and balance. I wasnāt sure what to expect and if it would just be one program for all type of a thing or even just an AI work out thatās put out one time. Turns out that James Lay not only had the workout plans, but he had several plans, depending on what level you were at. He also kept in contact with the entire group doing the challenge and quickly replied to anyone who had a question about an exercise or needed modifications or even alternative exercises what I ended up getting was a program that felt like a personal program created for me without it being a one on one coaching session. At this point, I am halfway through the first challenge and have lost 2% of my body fat and gained 2 pounds of muscle, which is what my goal has been. My body definition is already better. My posture has been noticeable to other people and my balance is not perfect, but Iām definitely able to do moves with less support compared to when I started 3 weeks ago! I canāt recommend this challenge and its creator and trainer, James Lay, enough! I will update my review with my final numbers in three weeks when this first challenge is over. Iāve already signed up for his next challenge to continue right after this one!

The Foundation Phase: Strength Starts Here has been an EXTRAORDINARY experience, exceeding my expectations in every way. James Jay is a magnificent trainer, not only because of the quality of his program, but also because he's available for any questions or concerns we may have. He helps us with things like nutrition and supplements, and best of all, he adapts the program to each of us based on our fitness level and needs, personalizing the exercises to our individual goals. I've only been on his Challenge for three weeks, and I already feel so much better, more agile and toned, and I've lost 13 pounds! I will definitely sign up for all his programs. I“ll give him an 11 out of 10.

I've followed James for a while now and am in awe of his accomplishments in his fitness. As soon as he said he was going to launch hid online coaching I signed up. I knew he would be awesome but he has gone above and beyond my expectations. Nothing is too much trouble , if you need a particular exercise explained of modified specifically for your abilitities he's straight on it. Your safety, comfort and being part of the wonderful caring community he has helped to nurture is his priority. He's managed to build a family of like minded participants who want to better themselves but also care for each other and have a giggle while doing so. In my humble opinion James is highly underrated in his chosen field of excellence. I highly recommend anyone of any age and fitness level to sign up and follow James, they won't regret their decision.

You emailed me that my review on either 21 or 22 had misapplied the star rating. And that for a 5 star rating I should have just left the stars as they were. You say that you removed the rating (because I clearly said I rate James challenge as 5 stars⦠I hope you did not remove my written comments. It is hard to rethink about all that James has brought to this challenge programā¦ā¦..I initially signed up just to support his endeavorsā¦but what he has achieved here is amazing⦠this is not just a series of exercises, he has created a community ! One with the focus on how to eat healthy, hydrate healthy & move well in your daily life. These are the building blocks of health & fitness. And whatās truely incredible is how he has unified us into a team whose members support and care about each other. Besides exercises there is joy & laughter & caring. I love the explanation of each exercise. How James has adjusted it for every stage of a person's physical abilities. James is receptive to all comments. He's encouraging. Very thorough explanations and demonstrations, you are not under pressure and do the exercises at your own pace, which I found encouraging. Listening to your body is highly encouraged. There are plenty of helpful tips, many alternative softer exercises you can choose from, if you have a particular movement that you struggle to carry out or if you have any mobility issues, which is very considerate and inclusive.

Challenge is FANTASTIC. Great community with good, caring & engaged people. James involvement is way more than expected. He is super helpful, engaged, keeps it light, fun, professional and safe. No fakes, AI, or negative Nellies. FITNESS options are amazing. Anyone at any level could do any parts of this. Seriously. Limited mobility to advanced like him is somehow in it all! App is bit of learning curve because itās different from other socials. But after you get it, itās easy. FLEXIBILITY is off the charts, yet the group and app gives you a great accountabilty structure. This was one of my best YESES. I never thought I could do this with someone at his level. He catches us all and he is the genuine, real deal. Plus itās FUN!!

If youāre looking for a community that supports you from complete beginner to advanced, this is the group to step into. What stands out to me is not just the training, but the environment. This is a space where you can ask questions, figure things out, and not feel judged while doing it. Whether youāre trying to understand your workouts, your nutrition, or just navigating life alongside it, thereās always someone willing to show up and engage with you. And that matters, especially when youāre starting something new. Youāre not just getting structured fitness support from James and his team. Youāre also stepping into a community where people genuinely see you, respond to you, and support you. And if the team doesnāt answer right away, someone in the group will. That kind of consistency makes a difference. The programming itself is solid. Right now thereās a strong focus on lower body and core, but there are plenty of modifications and added support beyond what you would typically expect. It feels comprehensive, not restrictive. Overall, itās a space that allows you to find your footing, grow at your own pace, and stay connected while doing it. Iām excited to see where this goes and how I continue to evolve through it.

I already referred to James as my inspiration and motivation because he is the reason I started back at the gym after so many years! Now he really is. He has done a wonderful job creating videos of each exercise along with written instructions. He has even made modifications for those of us who have issues doing the "stock" exercises. With numerous limitations, I was not sure if I could keep up with the workouts. Iāve tried other online workouts that turned out to either be AI run or a person who created 1 workout for all. This Challenge is the first online workout that the creator/Coach involved in the everyday program and has been individualizing the workouts per the challengers fitness level/health issues. Itās only been 1 week and I have already had multiple people mention that I look tighter and stronger! To top it off, the community of other challengers are so encouraging and helpful!

5 stars, so far. I love the variation that helps me still do work at my pace. In just a few days I'm feeling change, but not pang š... community is lovely and helpful. Coach Lay offers advice, encouragement, and is very accommodating.. in a compassionate way. You can be at 0 to 10 in physique and profit from this. A good time doing right by your body.

I I found it hard to work out the page and the timing of it, but I think Iāve got the hang of it now and I was so thought the James might of been a little bit more involved but apart from that the exercises are hard, but Iāve modified them to do what I can do also was hoping for a bit more community involvement. Maybe Iām not putting myself out there enough I donāt know but itās only week two so will see how we go anyway Iām glad that Iām doing it and thanks again James, for changing my mindset and putting yourself out there for others to show it can be done .
