Enjoy a beautifully seared top sirloin steak infused with herb-garlic butter, paired with perfectly roasted baby potatoes. This dish brings together rich, savory flavors and a crisp texture for a satisfying, well-balanced meal.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
1 cup Baby Potatoes
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary & Thyme (Chopped)
0.25 tsp Salt
0.25 tsp Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped herbs.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes roast, season the steak generously with salt, pepper, and the remaining chopped herbs.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on thickness.
In the last minute of cooking, add butter and garlic to the pan, spooning the melted herb-garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the rested steak with a serving of roasted baby potatoes, and drizzle any remaining butter from the pan over the top.
