INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast (170g)
3 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (14g)
2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice (30g)
2 Garlic Cloves (6g)
2 tbsp Mixed Fresh Herbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Combine finely chopped fresh herbs with a pinch of salt and pepper in a small bowl to create the herb crust.
Press the herb mixture onto both sides of the chicken breast to evenly coat.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Once the oil is shimmering, add the chicken breast and sear for approximately 4-5 minutes per side until golden crust forms and the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 1 teaspoon of olive oil along with minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the fresh lemon juice and allow the sauce to simmer briefly for 1-2 minutes until slightly reduced, stirring to combine.
Drizzle the lemon garlic sauce over the rested chicken breast and serve immediately.
