INGREDIENTS
4 oz Lean Ground Turkey
1 slice Turkey Bacon
2 Tbsp Reduced-Sugar BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup diced Yellow Onion
1/4 cup diced Bell Pepper
1 large Egg
1/8 cup Rolled Oats
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a small loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the lean ground turkey and finely chopped turkey bacon. Add in the diced onion and bell pepper.
Stir in the egg, rolled oats, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined without overworking the meat.
Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the meatloaf is firm and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
During the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the top of the meatloaf generously with the reduced-sugar BBQ sauce. Return to the oven to allow the glaze to set.
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
