INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast (170g)
2 large Egg Whites (66g total)
2 tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese (10g)
1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs (15g)
150g Green Beans
1 tsp Olive Oil (4.5g)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pound the chicken breast to ensure an even thickness for uniform cooking.
In a shallow bowl, lightly whisk the egg whites. In another plate, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Dip the chicken breast first in the egg whites, then coat evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
Place the coated chicken on one half of the baking sheet.
Trim the green beans and place them on the other half of the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and toss to evenly coat.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the green beans are tender with slight crisp edges.
Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving alongside the garlic roasted green beans.
