INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken Breast
1 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 cup Whole Wheat Pasta (cooked)
1/4 cup Half & Half
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
1/2 tsp Mixed Dried Herbs
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, red chili flakes, and mixed dried herbs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the garlic until fragrant.
Add the seasoned chicken breast and cook until golden on both sides and fully cooked in the center, approximately 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and slice into strips.
In the same skillet, add sliced red bell pepper and cook until slightly softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium-low and pour in the half & half to deglaze the pan, stirring to combine and warm the sauce.
Add the cooked pasta and chicken slices back into the skillet, tossing everything to coat well with the creamy sauce. Adjust salt and pepper as needed.
Serve warm and enjoy your spicy herb chicken and bell pepper pasta with creamy sauce.
