Savor the rich flavors of a perfectly pan-seared sirloin steak adorned with a luscious garlic butter sauce, paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. This dish strikes a harmonious balance between juicy, savory steak and crunchy, herb-infused potatoes, leaving you both satisfied and energized.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak (~170g)
1 cup halved Baby Potatoes (~150g)
2 cloves Fresh Garlic
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (~14g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (~5g)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread them on a baking sheet.
Roast the potatoes in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are crispy on the outside and tender inside.
While the potatoes roast, season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
In the last minute of cooking, add the unsalted butter and crushed garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak to enhance flavor.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
Plate the steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes, drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the steak, and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
