INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken Breast
1 cup cooked Whole Wheat Pasta
2 oz Low-Fat Cream Cheese
1 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 cup Fresh Spinach
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and half of the smoked paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the diced red bell pepper and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the peppers are slightly soft.
Add the low-fat cream cheese and remaining smoked paprika to the skillet. Stir well and allow the cream cheese to melt, creating a creamy sauce.
Slice the cooked chicken into strips and return them to the skillet. Add the fresh spinach and stir until the spinach is wilted and the chicken is coated in the creamy, spicy sauce.
Gently mix in the cooked whole wheat pasta until well combined. Adjust salt and pepper as needed.
Serve immediately and enjoy your healthy, creamy spicy paprika chicken pasta.
