INGREDIENTS
7 oz Tuna Steak (200g)
2 cups chopped Romaine Lettuce (120g)
1/2 cup halved Cherry Tomatoes (75g)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (5g)
1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice (15g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the tuna steak dry with paper towels and season both sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tuna steak and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until a golden crust forms while keeping the center slightly rare.
Remove the tuna from the heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
In a bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes.
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice, then toss gently to coat the greens.
Slice the tuna steak thinly and arrange on top of the salad.
Finish with an extra sprinkle of salt and pepper if desired before serving.
