Welcome to the Strong Mom Reset!
This program was intentionally designed for busy moms who want to build strength, lose body fat, and increase your energy without spending hours working out!
Each week includes 4 strength workouts and 3 encouraged active recovery days. Your strength workouts are designed to take about 25–40 minutes, using primarily dumbbells, so they are simple and effective to complete at home (and around the chaos with kids).
Over the next six weeks you’ll notice the workouts gradually change so you're never bored. The rep counts will slowly decrease so you can increase your weights and build strength through progressive overload. This means your body will continue adapting and getting stronger as the program progresses!
The program structure is laid out for you already but you can move these days around if needed – just aim to complete 4 strength workouts each week.
Why Only 4 Strength Days?
More workouts isn’t always better. Your body actually gets stronger during recovery, not just during training! This program intentionally includes 3 active recovery days each week so your body has time to repair, rebuild muscle, and keep your energy levels high.
Adding these recovery days can:
• improve recovery from strength training
• support fat loss without adding extra stress to the body
• help reduce inflammation
• boost energy and mood
• be more realistic and sustainable for busy moms
Consistency matters far more than doing workouts every single day!
What To Do On Active Recovery Days
On recovery days, I'll encourage you to aim for 20–40 minutes of walking or light movement if you can.
This might look like:
• a walk outside
• walking with your kids
• a light stroller walk
• mobility or stretching
Fresh air, sunlight, and gentle movement help your body recover while keeping your energy levels up. And if you're short on time or you're just feeling extra tired, remember: even a 10-minute walk still counts.
The goal is simply to keep your body moving without pushing it too hard! You don’t need perfect workouts to see results. You just need to keep showing up!
Over the next six weeks together we will focus on building strength, gaining confidence, and celebrating the small wins along the way!
