INGREDIENTS
350g Extra-Firm Tofu
200g Broccoli Florets
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 Green Onion, chopped
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water. Once pressed, cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
In a bowl, combine the sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and low-sodium soy sauce. Gently toss the tofu cubes in the marinade until evenly coated.
Spread the marinated tofu cubes on half of the prepared baking sheet. In a separate bowl, toss the broccoli florets with a small drizzle of sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
Place the broccoli on the other half of the baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the tofu halfway through for even crispiness, until the tofu is golden and the broccoli has a roasted, slightly caramelized edge.
Once baked, garnish the tofu and broccoli with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving.
