Enjoy tender pan-seared chicken breast accented with a flavorful herb crust and finished with a tangy lemon garlic sauce. This dish features a perfect balance of savory chicken with the brightness of fresh lemon and aromatic herbs, making for a satisfying and wholesome meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast (170g)
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Mixed Fresh Herbs
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, combine the mixed fresh herbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Rub this herb mixture evenly over the chicken breast to create a crust.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the chicken breast.
Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on one side until golden and crispy, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside to rest for a couple of minutes.
Lower the heat to medium and add the lemon juice into the same pan, scraping any bits off the bottom. Add the teaspoon of unsalted butter and stir to create a light lemon garlic sauce.
Drizzle the sauce over the rested chicken breast and serve immediately.
