INGREDIENTS
5 oz Ground Chicken Breast
1 large Egg White
3 Whole Wheat Dumpling Wrappers
2 Tbsp Fresh Herbs (Parsley & Chives)
1 Garlic Clove
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
PREPARATION
Finely mince the garlic and ginger and chop the fresh herbs.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken breast with the egg white, garlic, ginger, and herbs. Drizzle in the sesame oil and mix well until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Place a whole wheat dumpling wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon a small portion of the chicken mixture into the center of the wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it over the filling, and press to seal, creating a dumpling shape. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
To cook, steam the dumplings in a steamer basket over boiling water for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the dumpling wrappers are tender.
Serve the dumplings hot with a light dipping sauce of your choice.
