INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
1 tsp Butter
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
Rub the steak with olive oil, then sprinkle evenly with chopped fresh rosemary and thyme.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add the steak to the pan and sear for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
Flip the steak and add the garlic clove to the pan. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.
In the last minute of cooking, add the butter to the pan and tilt the pan slightly to spoon the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
