INGREDIENTS
2 slices Sourdough Bread (80g total)
0.75 oz Cheddar Cheese (21g)
0.75 oz Swiss Cheese (21g)
0.75 oz Mozzarella Cheese (21g)
3 Egg Whites (approx. 99g)
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Lightly season the egg whites with a pinch of salt and pepper, then whisk them until frothy.
Spray the pan with a light coating of non-stick cooking spray and pour in the egg whites. Cook gently, stirring occasionally until they are softly scrambled but still moist. Remove from the skillet once done.
Place one slice of sourdough bread on the skillet. Layer evenly with the three cheeses: cheddar, Swiss, and mozzarella.
Evenly distribute the scrambled egg whites over the cheese layers.
Top with the second slice of sourdough bread. Press down gently with a spatula.
Cook on medium heat until the bottom slice is golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Carefully flip the entire sandwich and cook until the other side is also golden and the cheese has melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve immediately while warm and gooey.
