INGREDIENTS
8 oz Flounder Fillet (227g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
2 Garlic Cloves
Juice from 1/2 Lemon (30g)
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the flounder fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the flounder fillet in the pan and sear for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden. Flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté gently for about 1 minute, taking care not to brown the garlic.
Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley into the melted butter to create the garlic butter sauce.
Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
