Delight in this crispy pan-seared salmon paired with savory garlic butter mushrooms. The salmon is perfectly seared with a beautiful crust while the mushrooms soak in a rich garlic buttery sauce, creating a dish that's both elegant and satisfying for a wholesome dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup White Button Mushrooms
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
1/2 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 3-4 minutes until a crispy crust forms.
Gently flip the salmon and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the fish is cooked through but still moist.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed, then add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms start to soften.
Add unsalted butter and lemon juice to the pan, stirring to coat the mushrooms in a delicious garlic butter sauce.
Once the mushrooms are tender and infused with flavor, remove from heat and plate alongside the salmon.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
