INGREDIENTS
150g riced Cauliflower
1 whole Egg
1 Egg White
70g shredded Part-skim Mozzarella
20g Turkey Pepperoni
30g Tomato Sauce (2 tbsp)
A pinch of dried Oregano
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, whole egg, and egg white. Mix well until the ingredients form a cohesive mixture. Optionally, you can microwave the riced cauliflower for 5 minutes to soften it before mixing.
Season the cauliflower mixture lightly with salt, pepper, and a pinch of dried oregano. Transfer the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and press firmly into a thin, even circular crust.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden and firm up.
Remove the crust from the oven and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then evenly distribute the turkey pepperoni slices on top.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the toppings are heated through.
Remove from the oven, slice, and serve immediately while warm.
