INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast
1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Finely chop the fresh rosemary and thyme. Sprinkle the chopped herbs over the chicken to create a light crust.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is shimmering, place the chicken in the skillet.
Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a golden crust forms, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest for a couple of minutes.
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the lemon juice and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to create your sauce.
Drizzle the lemon garlic sauce over the rested chicken before serving.
