INGREDIENTS
1/2 can Black Beans (approx. 120g)
1 scoop Whey Protein Isolate (approx. 30g)
1 large Egg
2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp Almond Butter
1 tbsp Honey
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Salt
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small square baking pan (approximately 8x8 inches).
Rinse and drain the black beans, then add them to a food processor.
Add the egg, protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, almond butter, honey, baking soda, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the food processor.
Blend the mixture until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary. Make sure there are no chunks of bean remaining.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Enjoy your fudgy, protein-packed brownie square as a healthy treat at breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
