Enjoy a delightful twist on salmon featuring a crunchy pistachio crust paired with a bright and zesty citrus-ginger glaze. This dish delivers a satisfying balance of textures and flavors, with the tender, flaky salmon complementing the nutty crust and tangy glaze perfectly.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Salmon Fillet (141g)
0.5 oz Unsalted Pistachios (14g), crushed
1 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tsp Honey
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
Olive Oil Spray
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel, then season both sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
Place the crushed pistachios on a small plate. Press the top side of the salmon fillet into the pistachios to form an even crust.
In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, grated ginger, and honey to create the citrus-ginger glaze.
Lightly spray a baking dish with olive oil spray and place the pistachio-crusted salmon inside, crust side up.
Drizzle half of the glaze over the salmon, reserving the remainder for finishing.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon. Serve immediately.
