Herb-Crusted Pan Seared Steak with Garlic Butter
Enjoy a succulent pan-seared sirloin steak encrusted with fresh herbs and finished with a rich garlic butter sauce. This dish combines a perfectly seared steak with an aromatic garlic and rosemary infusion for a delicious and satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Beef Sirloin Steak
1 tbsp Salted Butter
1 garlic clove
1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Remove the steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, and finely chopped fresh rosemary.
Preheat a heavy skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat until very hot.
Place the steak in the dry pan and sear for about 3-4 minutes on one side without moving it.
Flip the steak and add a whole garlic clove (lightly crushed) to the pan. Continue to sear for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add 1 tablespoon of salted butter to the pan. As it melts, tilt the pan slightly and spoon the garlic butter over the steak repeatedly to infuse flavor.
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve the sliced steak drizzled with the garlic butter from the pan.
