Topped with delicate nori and fresh green onions, this dish is both visually enticing and perfectly balanced for a wholesome breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 Nori Sheet
1 tbsp Green Onions
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
Spread the cooked brown rice evenly in the dish as the base for the bake.
Place the 4 oz salmon fillet on top of the rice. Lightly season the salmon with salt and pepper if desired.
Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it lightly. Drizzle the beaten egg over the rice and salmon to help bind the ingredients.
Drizzle 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over the top to add a rich, nutty flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the edges start to turn crispy.
Remove from the oven and immediately crumble or tear the dried nori sheet over the top.
Garnish with chopped green onions for a burst of freshness before serving.
