INGREDIENTS
200g Cauliflower, riced
1 whole Egg
2 large Egg Whites
70g Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup Tomato Sauce
Handful of Fresh Basil (about 5 sprigs)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rice the cauliflower in a food processor until fine and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 4-5 minutes until tender, then transfer to a clean towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
Combine the riced cauliflower with 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites in a bowl. Mix in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until a slightly sticky dough forms.
Press the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet into a thin, circular crust. Bake for 15-18 minutes until the edges start to get slightly golden.
Remove the crust from the oven and spread 1/4 cup of tomato sauce evenly over it. Top with the part-skim mozzarella cheese.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 7-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving, and enjoy your nutritious and flavorful pizza.
