INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup Almond Flour (40g)
1/4 cup Rolled Oats (20g)
1 large Egg White (30g)
1 scoop Whey Protein Isolate (30g)
1 tbsp Maple Syrup (20g)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, rolled oats, whey protein isolate, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
In a separate small bowl, whisk the egg white until slightly frothy, then add it to the dry ingredients. Mix until you form a dough.
Shape the dough into a flat disc then cut it into rafter-like rings or roll into small individual rings and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the rings are golden and hold together.
While the rings are cooling slightly, drizzle with the maple syrup to create a light glaze. Optionally, return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes to set the glaze.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before enjoying your wholesome, protein-packed treat.
