Herb-Crusted Pan Seared Chicken with Lemon Garlic Sauce
Enjoy a bright and flavorful dish featuring a tender, herb-crusted chicken breast with a zesty lemon garlic sauce. The perfectly pan-seared chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy within, enhanced by aromatic herbs and a refreshing citrus kick.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken Breast (142g)
20g Almond Flour
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (30g)
2 Cloves Garlic (6g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
2 Tbsp Fresh Herbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Spread the almond flour mixed with finely chopped fresh herbs over the chicken to form an even herb crust.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breast and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in the lemon juice and a splash of water if needed, scraping the browned bits from the bottom to create a rich sauce.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 1-2 minutes, then pour it over the chicken.
Garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
