This dish is bursting with flavor from the spicy Sriracha kick and aromatic garlic and ginger, making each bite a delightful balance of heat and freshness.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken Breast (113g)
40g Ramen Noodles (dried)
1 large Egg
50g Broccoli
30g Carrot
1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp minced Ginger
2 tbsp Green Onions
PREPARATION
Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan and add the chicken strips. Blanch until just cooked, about 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside.
In the same pot, add a little garlic, ginger, and a splash of water or low-sodium chicken broth to create a light base. Add the dried ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, approximately 3-4 minutes.
While the noodles cook, steam or microwave the broccoli and carrot until tender-crisp, about 2-3 minutes.
In a small bowl, beat the egg. Once the noodles are nearly done, slowly drizzle the egg into the boiling mixture, stirring constantly to create silky egg ribbons.
Return the cooked chicken to the pot. Stir in the Sriracha sauce for a spicy kick.
Just before serving, stir in the steamed vegetables and garnish with chopped green onions.
Mix well and serve hot for a flavorful and nourishing meal.
