INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Olive Oil
0.5 tbsp Fresh Rosemary
0.5 tbsp Fresh Thyme
0.5 tbsp Fresh Parsley
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, combine chopped roasted garlic (steam or roast garlic beforehand until soft), olive oil, rosemary, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper to create the herb crust.
Pat the 6 oz sirloin steak dry with paper towels. Rub the herb mixture evenly over all sides of the steak.
Once the skillet is hot, carefully lay the steak in the skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately with any remaining pan juices drizzled on top.
