1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Fresh Lime Juice
3 Romaine Lettuce Leaves

PREPARATION
In a large bowl, mash the cooked black beans until mostly smooth with a few whole beans for texture.
Stir in the cooked quinoa, beaten egg, and pea protein powder until well combined.
Mix in the whole wheat bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Form the mixture into patties approximately the size of your hand.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly spray with cooking spray or add a teaspoon of olive oil if desired.
Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are crispy and heated through.
Prepare the romaine lettuce leaves as wraps by rinsing and drying them.
Place a crispy patty into each lettuce leaf and serve immediately, adding additional lime juice or your favorite hot sauce if desired.
