Enjoy a delightful twist on classic wings with a crispy baked finish and a sticky, flavorful honey-garlic glaze. Each wing is perfectly seasoned, delivering a burst of savory-sweet tang that’s both satisfying and balanced for your meal plan.
INGREDIENTS
7 pieces Chicken Wings (210g)
1 tbsp Honey (21g)
2 cloves Garlic (6g)
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce (15g)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder (3g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a lightly greased rack.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, and pepper to ensure even coating.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 35 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time to ensure even crispiness.
While the wings are baking, prepare the honey-garlic glaze. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, minced garlic, and low-sodium soy sauce. Stir until warmed through and slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
In the last 5 minutes of the baking time, remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with the glaze. Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (232°C) and return the wings to the oven to finish baking, allowing the glaze to set and become sticky.
Once the wings are crispy and cooked through, remove them from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, and serve hot.
