INGREDIENTS
1 can Black Beans (255g)
6 Egg Whites (approx. 198g)
2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (12g)
2 tbsp Maple Syrup (40g)
2 tsp Virgin Coconut Oil (10g)
1.5 scoops Whey Protein Isolate (45g)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
In a high-speed blender, combine the rinsed black beans, egg whites, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, and whey protein isolate. Blend until completely smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan ensuring an even spread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Cut into 2 large squares for a meal or 4 smaller squares for a lighter portion; each serving is designed to have approximately 40g of protein and around 390-400 kcals.
