INGREDIENTS
400g Extra Firm Tofu
200g Broccoli
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (minced)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
PREPARATION
Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Toss the broccoli florets with a drizzle of sesame oil, a pinch of salt, and pepper, and spread them on a baking sheet.
Roast the broccoli in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges start to brown.
In a bowl, whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch.
Gently toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch to lightly coat them, then add the tofu to the sauce mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Heat the remaining sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook until all sides are crispy and golden, about 8-10 minutes.
Plate the crispy tofu alongside the roasted broccoli, and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
