INGREDIENTS
2 cups riced Cauliflower
1 large Egg
1/2 cup part-skim Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs
1 pinch Salt
1 pinch Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, egg, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Transfer the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Press the mixture into a thin, even layer approximately 1/2 inch thick to form a rectangular dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden and the center is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Using a pizza cutter, slice the baked cauliflower crust into breadstick-shaped strips.
Return the slices to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to crisp them up further, if desired.
Serve warm as a savory side or enjoy as a light snack.
