Enjoy a vibrant twist on your salmon dinner with a crunchy pistachio crust paired with a tangy citrus-ginger glaze. This dish balances bright, refreshing flavors with the rich, natural taste of salmon, perfect for a nutritious and indulgent meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
20 g Unsalted Pistachios (crushed)
2 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, grated ginger, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the citrus-ginger glaze.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel. Brush the glaze evenly over the entire surface of the salmon.
Sprinkle the crushed unsalted pistachios over the top of the glazed salmon, pressing gently to help them adhere.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the salmon, pistachio side down, for 2 minutes to begin crisping the crust.
Flip the salmon carefully and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining glaze from the pan over the salmon if desired.
