INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tbsp Fresh Dill
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Olive Oil
1/2 Lemon
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and season both sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, combine chopped fresh parsley, fresh dill, and minced garlic.
Drizzle the olive oil and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the salmon fillet, then press the herb mixture onto the top of the salmon to form a crust.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil if necessary.
Place the salmon fillet in the skillet, herb side up. Sear the salmon for about 4-5 minutes until a nice crust forms.
Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness, or longer if preferred.
Remove the salmon from the skillet and let rest for a minute before serving. Optionally, garnish with an extra squeeze of lemon.
