INGREDIENTS
5 oz Yellowfin Tuna Steak
1/2 cup Cooked White Rice
1 Rice Paper Wrap
1/4 piece Cucumber (approx. 100g)
1/4 piece Red Bell Pepper (approx. 50g)
2 Tbsp Scallions
1 tsp Sriracha Sauce
1 tsp Fresh Lime Juice
1 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro
PREPARATION
Season the tuna steak lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes per side to achieve a nice crust while keeping the center rare.
Remove the tuna from the heat and let it rest for a minute before thinly slicing it.
Prepare the rice paper wrap by briefly soaking it in warm water until soft, then lay it out on a clean surface.
Spread the cooked white rice in a thin layer on the rice paper, leaving a small border around the edges.
Layer the sliced tuna, cucumber slices, red bell pepper strips, and scallions on top of the rice.
Drizzle with sriracha sauce and fresh lime juice, then finish with a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
Carefully roll the rice paper tightly, folding in the sides as you go to secure the filling.
Slice the wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
