INGREDIENTS
5 oz Beef Sirloin Steak
150 g Baby Potatoes
1 Garlic Clove
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
2 g Mixed Fresh Herbs (Parsley, Thyme)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Wash the baby potatoes and cut them in halves or quarters depending on size. Toss them with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread them on a baking tray.
Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
While the potatoes roast, season the beef sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is achieved.
In the last minute of cooking, add the unsalted butter and the crushed garlic clove to the skillet. Spoon the melted herb-garlic butter over the steak continuously.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with mixed fresh herbs.
Plate the rested steak next to the roasted baby potatoes, drizzle any remaining butter from the skillet over the top, and serve immediately.
