Preheat a baking sheet in the oven to 425°F for roasting the broccoli.
Rinse the salmon fillet and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Lightly press the herb mixture onto the surface of the salmon to form a crust.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the teaspoon of olive oil.
Place the salmon, skin side down, in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Carefully flip the salmon and sear the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.
Meanwhile, toss the broccoli with a little salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil if desired, then spread onto the preheated baking sheet.
Roast the broccoli in the oven for 10-12 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
Plate the salmon alongside the roasted broccoli and garnish with a fresh lemon wedge. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon just before serving.
