Savor the rich flavors of a perfectly seared sirloin steak accented with a fragrant herb-garlic butter, paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. This dish delivers a hearty protein boost with a whisper of fresh herbs for a mouthwatering and balanced meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak (170g)
1 cup Baby Potatoes (150g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
1 tsp Fresh Parsley
2 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Toss the baby potatoes with 1 tsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and tender.
While the potatoes roast, season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the time to your desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add butter, minced garlic, thyme, and parsley to the skillet. Spoon the herb-garlic butter over the steak continuously to infuse flavor.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the roasted baby potatoes and drizzle any remaining herb butter over the top.
