INGREDIENTS
400g Extra Firm Tofu
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Nori Seaweed Seasoning
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Scallions, chopped
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Press the tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture; then cut it into 1/2-inch thick slices or cubes.
Pat the tofu dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the tofu pieces in a single layer and let them sear undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the tofu pieces and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until crisp.
Drizzle soy sauce over the tofu and sprinkle nori seaweed seasoning evenly while tossing gently to coat all sides.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped scallions. Serve warm.
