INGREDIENTS
300g Extra-Firm Tofu
300g Green Cabbage
1 Large Egg
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
PREPARATION
Press the extra-firm tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into small cubes.
Thinly slice the green cabbage into strips and set aside.
Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
Heat the sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and sear until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
Toss in the sliced cabbage and drizzle with low-sodium soy sauce. Stir-fry with the tofu and aromatics for 3-4 minutes until the cabbage is crisp-tender.
In a separate small pan, cook the egg to your liking (poached, fried, or soft scrambled) and then gently combine or serve the egg on top of the tofu and cabbage mixture.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve immediately.
