INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast
1/4 cup Almond Flour
1 large Egg White
1/4 cup Fresh Orange Juice
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
1 Green Onion (garnish)
PREPARATION
Slice the chicken breast into bite-sized strips or chunks, pat dry, and season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
Place the egg white in a shallow dish. In another dish, add almond flour.
Dip each chicken piece first into the egg white and then coat evenly with almond flour, shaking off excess.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry the chicken for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the coating is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
While the chicken is cooking, combine fresh orange juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, and low-sodium soy sauce in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until slightly reduced, stirring occasionally.
Once cooked, transfer the crispy chicken to a bowl and drizzle the warm orange sauce over it. Toss gently to coat evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onion. Serve immediately and enjoy!
