This crisp, flavorful pizza is a delightful balance of savory meats and a light, crispy crust, perfect for a satisfying meal any time of day.
INGREDIENTS
200g Cauliflower (riced)
1 large Egg
30g Shredded Mozzarella (for crust)
50g Lean Italian Sausage
30g Turkey Pepperoni
2 tbsp Marinara Sauce
30g Shredded Mozzarella (topping)
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rice the cauliflower by processing it in a food processor until it resembles fine crumbs. Steam or microwave the riced cauliflower until just tender, then let cool and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel.
In a bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, beaten egg, and 30g of shredded mozzarella. Mix well until the ingredients come together to form a dough-like consistency.
Transfer the cauliflower mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and press it into a thin, even circle to create the pizza crust.
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden and firm up.
Remove the crust from the oven and spread 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce evenly over it. Arrange the lean Italian sausage pieces and turkey pepperoni slices on top, then sprinkle the remaining 30g of shredded mozzarella over the pizza.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crispy.
Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
