INGREDIENTS
1 piece (6 oz) Chicken Breast
1 large Egg White
1/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
Zest of 1 medium Orange
2 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
3 sprays Cooking Spray
PREPARATION
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
Pat the chicken breast dry with paper towels. Using a sharp grater, zest the orange and set the zest aside.
In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg white together with the fresh orange juice, garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs with the reserved orange zest.
Dip the chicken breast into the egg white mixture making sure it is fully coated, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to help the crumbs adhere.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken breast in the basket.
Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked and the coating is crispy and golden.
Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
