Herb-Crusted Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon Garlic Sauce
Enjoy a beautifully pan-seared salmon fillet with a crunchy herb crust and a zesty lemon garlic sauce. The savory almond flour coating mixed with aromatic herbs perfectly complements the tender, juicy salmon, while the bright sauce provides a refreshing finish.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet (~170g)
1/4 cup Almond Flour (28g)
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
1 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper, to taste
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Olive Oil
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
Brush the top of the salmon with Dijon mustard, then press the almond flour mixture onto the mustard-coated side to form a crust.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Once hot, add the salmon crust-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes until golden.
Flip the salmon and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until the fish is just cooked through.
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Drizzle the lemon garlic sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
