INGREDIENTS
150g Tempeh
75g Broccoli
75g Red Bell Pepper
50g Carrot
50g Snow Peas
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
PREPARATION
Slice the tempeh into thin strips or cubes. Steam or lightly pan-fry the tempeh for a few minutes to reduce its bitterness.
In a small bowl, mix maple syrup with a little water to thin it out if needed.
Prepare the vegetables by cutting broccoli into florets, slicing the red bell pepper into strips, julienning the carrot, and trimming the snow peas.
Heat sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the vegetables and stir-fry them for 3-4 minutes until just tender yet still crisp.
Add the tempeh to the skillet and drizzle with the maple syrup mixture. Toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly and heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve warm.
