The savory flavors of garlic and fresh herbs complement the natural richness of the steak, creating a nutritionally balanced dish perfect for a wholesome dinner.
INGREDIENTS
5 ounces Lean Sirloin Steak
150 grams Baby Potatoes
1 teaspoon Unsalted Butter
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (Parsley & Thyme)
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a bowl, toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped fresh herbs.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and crisp, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes roast, season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a small pat of butter and the minced garlic. Let the garlic sizzle until fragrant.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side (adjust time to desired doneness), spooning the herb-garlic butter over the steak as it cooks.
Once cooked to your preference, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with the remaining fresh herbs.
Serve the seared steak alongside the roasted baby potatoes for a balanced and flavorful meal.
