INGREDIENTS
400g Firm Tofu
200g Broccoli
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Grated Fresh Ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Rice Vinegar
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the broccoli florets. Drizzle with a little sesame oil, sprinkle with salt if desired, and toss to coat evenly.
Roast the broccoli in the oven for 20-25 minutes until tender and slightly charred on the edges.
While the broccoli roasts, press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
In a small bowl, combine the low-sodium soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
Gently toss the tofu cubes in the mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Let the tofu marinate for about 10 minutes.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and pan-fry for approximately 3-4 minutes per side until each side is golden and crispy.
Once the broccoli and tofu are done, transfer the tofu to a serving dish with the roasted broccoli. Drizzle any remaining pan juices over the top.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
