Enjoy a beautifully seared 6oz sirloin steak with an aromatic herb crust and a decadent garlic butter finish. This dish promises a rich blend of savory flavors, enhanced by the freshness of rosemary and parsley, making it both a satisfying and elegant meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak (approx 170g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Rosemary (chopped)
1 tsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a small bowl, mix the chopped rosemary and parsley with minced garlic.
Lightly press the herb mixture onto the steak to form a crust.
Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust timing for desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add unsalted butter to the pan and allow it to melt, spooning the garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the steak and serve immediately.
