Enjoy a beautifully seared, crispy-skinned chicken thigh infused with the aromatic flavors of garlic and butter. This dish delivers a satisfying crunch and rich taste, perfect for a wholesome meal at any time of day.
INGREDIENTS
1 large Chicken Thigh (skin-on, boneless, ~200g)
1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
2 cloves Garlic
1 pinch Salt
1 pinch Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken thigh dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy skin. Season both sides lightly with salt and black pepper.
Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt and begin to foam.
Add the chicken thigh, skin side down, and sear without moving it for about 6-8 minutes until the skin is deeply golden and crispy.
Flip the chicken thigh and add the minced garlic to the pan. Continue cooking for another 6-8 minutes, occasionally spooning the melted butter and garlic over the top of the chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F, remove it from the pan.
Plate the chicken and drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the pan over it. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
